Changelog
The calculator changes most weeks. Everything user-facing lands here, newest first. Spotted something wrong or missing? Send feedback.
Launching as EVECalc.uk
The public site is now EVE Online Industry Calc at evecalc.uk — a multi-blueprint-first landing page, Privacy and Terms, and a footer that names who actually runs it.
- NewPublic name is EVE Online Industry Calc (EVECalc). Grant Visser / Grumpy Git stays as the operator, not the product name.
- NewPrivacy and Terms are public, with CCP’s fan-site disclaimer, in-game contact Grump Visseur, and no cookie wall.
- ImprovedThe landing page leads with the multi-blueprint calculator. Sign in lives in the header and on that featured card.
Feedback is a conversation now
You can keep talking on a ticket, Grant can reply in the hub, and you get a notice when there is an unread answer.
- NewEach report is a public thread. Keep going until the ticket is closed — closed tickets cannot be replied to.
- NewAfter sign-in, a once-per-session notice lists tickets waiting for you. The Feedback button shows a count and only pulses when something is unread.
- ImprovedAdmin private notes stay private. You never see Grant’s scratch pad, only the public replies.
Sign in with EVE Online
Email and password accounts are gone. Your EVE character is now your account — one click, nothing to remember.
- NewEVE SSO is the only way in. There is no signup form and no password to lose.
- ImprovedAny character you have linked signs you into the same account, with all your saved plans and synced data intact.
- ImprovedA public landing page and this changelog, so you can see what the hub does before signing in.
Two-level navigation
The top bar was getting crowded. Tools now sit on one level, with their own sub-pages on a second.
- ImprovedPrimary sections across the top, a contextual sub-bar underneath for the pages inside each tool.
- ImprovedSettings, Admin and Logout moved into the character avatar menu; Feedback stays in reach.
- ImprovedMobile menu regrouped so sections and their sub-pages read as one list.
Profitability research across all of EVE
Scan the whole manufacturing catalogue for what is actually worth building right now, not just the blueprints you own.
- NewResearch scans rank items by profit and margin using live hub prices.
- NewOptional blueprint cost amortisation, so a BPO's price is spread across the runs you plan.
- ImprovedEach scan is saved as an observation, building a picture of how profitability moves over time.
Single blueprint calculator
A focused tool for costing one blueprint, without going through the full multi-blueprint flow.
- NewPick a blueprint, set runs, ME and TE, and get materials, cost and profit immediately.
- NewGenerate a shopping list straight from the result, with multibuy ready to paste in-game.
- FixedRemoved the hard 100-item limit that was quietly truncating large jobs.
Facility taxes in the profit figures
Job cost now reflects where you actually build, including system cost index and structure taxes.
- NewFacility picker with rig and structure bonuses applied to material and time efficiency.
- ImprovedProfit breakdown shows job installation cost and taxes as separate lines.
Feedback and admin triage
The hub is in active development, so reporting a problem had to be easy.
- NewSend feedback from anywhere in the hub, categorised as a bug, idea or question.
- ImprovedAdmin portal to triage reports and track what has been handled.
Shopping list with owned materials
Buy only what you are missing, rather than the full bill of materials.
- NewShopping list subtracts what you already have in your hangar.
- NewCopy multibuy to the clipboard and paste it straight into the EVE market window.
- ImprovedAssets in Asset Safety are excluded, so the list never counts stock you cannot use.
